A pilot program for frontline clinicians
The signs and symptoms of FTD can be challenging to recognize – not only for family members and loved ones, but for health and medical professionals as well. These difficulties often lead to misdiagnoses with other neurodegenerative or psychiatric conditions, or to a delayed diagnosis with FTD overall.
To support improved understanding and identification of FTD, we have created tools and guides with comprehensive information about, and recommendations for assisting, those who may be affected by the disease. They are designed for primary care clinicians, emergency medicine professionals, and mental health practitioners.
The toolkit is being shared through a pilot program, funded by the Kissick Family Foundation, to increase awareness of FTD and support frontline healthcare professionals in recognizing and responding to the condition. This first phase focuses on outreach to healthcare professionals in Florida and Georgia, but the toolkit is free for all frontline health professionals and members of the general public.
Before downloading, we ask you to complete a brief, 2-minute survey. Your answers help us understand who is using the toolkit and what clinicians need to support their practice, and will shape how we improve and expand the program.
Free to download. Complete the brief survey and you’ll go straight to the full toolkit and all six guides.
Answer a few quick tap-to-answer questions, then you’ll go straight to the toolkit.
